Happy new year to you all. Here are some important Skelwith Fold Caravan Park dates for your 2013 diary!

Sunday 31st March 2013: Easter Coffee

Morning & Children's Activities

Come along and join us in the function room from 10am for our first Coffee Morning of the new season. As well as tea, coffee and biscuits for the grown ups we will have lots of Easter activities for the children with prizes to be won!! Easter Egg Treasure Hunt begins at 10:30am from the function room where treasure maps and clues will be given out. Don't forget to bring along your decorated eggs, prizes will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd. (All decorated eggs must be brought to the function room before 11am ready for judging).

Saturday 20th April 2013: Cheese & Wine Quiz Night

Tickets are now on sale in reception and are going fast... So hurry and buy yours now so you don't miss out on a brilliant night.

Tickets are £6.00 and include entry to the quiz, a glass of wine and a selection of cheeses. Teams can be as large as 6 people so recruit now or team up on the night. Ticket numbers are limited so call into reception or call us on 015394 32277 to buy over the phone.

Saturday 11th May 2013: Tasting Evening

Feeling peckish? Join us in the function room on Saturday 11^th May from 6pm to try some tasty local produce, all of which is available in our shop.

This year Cumbrian Way foods from Langdale are providing the hot dishes for sampling and maybe a pudding or 2! Higginsons Butchers of Grange over Sands will be bringing their pies which are famous in Cumbria, England and now Skelwith Fold!

Barngates brewery will be on hand to provide liquid refreshments or if real ale isn’t your thing why not try a few wines from Lakeland Vintners!

But remember to leave some room for the English Lakes Ice cream. Rumour has it there may also be some Penrith Toffee Shop fudge and toffee available to sample too.

Entry is from 6pm and is free for everyone so come and try the local gastronomy the area has to offer.
