GRADUATE TRAINEE
Deadline: 28 February 2012
Salary: Between £16,000 and £18,000
Location: Ambleside, Cumbria

To learn about all aspects of the management and operation of a medium size 5 star Touring & Holiday Home Park, which is operated within the constraints and license of the Lake District National Park.
The Caravan & Holiday Parks industry is unique in that we are affected by a broad spectrum of rules and regulations which, whilst not directly concerned with our industry, have an impact on its profitability and operations. This exposure to a variety of regulation will help give the candidate a broad understanding of the vagaries of operating a business within the customer service sector.
By necessity the successful candidate will spend time within each department that makes up the business, learning the processes, legislative requirements and procedures involved and learning the culture and ethos of the business.
Interested parties will need to be creative, adaptable, flexible, customer focused and have an ability to think on their feet within the constraints of our Service Standards.
This position would be an ideal foundation for a future management position within the Parks industry or other operations within the Leisure & Tourism sector.
